Multiple file extensions associations

Hello again,
How can I quickly set the extension associations for multiple extensions ?
I am using Windows XP and I need to set the default program for .avi, .mov, .mpg, .flv, etc to "C:\Program Files\Media Player Classic\mplayerc.exe"
I can do that by setting it manually for each extension at a time, but it takes some time for 10-20 extensions. So I wonder if there's any program to do that automatically. Or if it's possible to do with some batch script
I prefere not to play with the registers, as things can change from one service pack to another

thank you

You are going to have to play with the registry as that is where the information is stored.

It is unlikely that this information will change between service packs.

Your should be able to set multiple file associations in the Media Player Classic program settings somewhere.
