Multiboot XP not booting, No active partition

Specs: Windows XP
hi i used dual OS, Solaris and XP
unfortunately i deleted the active partition on Solaris . after reboot the system says no active partition ...and leave blank

hw to solve this issuse pls fix it

You should be able to do a repair install from the orignal XP disk. this should replace the missing boot files/partition.

yes , but when ever i install or repair a XP , it's said no hard disk , switch on or remove and re insert a hard disk.

FDISK to set your active partition to the Windows one (if needed)

BOOTCFG to fix boot.ini (if needed)

That seems like your BIOS already has problem seeing the disk ... did you change anything there ? If I get it right, the WindowsXP recovery only cares that disks are recognized on BIOS level, doesn't really care about status of partitions or disks (status meaning presence of boot-files and OS)
