mspaint not enough memory, save, allways, wrong file path

Specs: Windows XP, 1.81 GHz/1.00GB
When I open paint, I can't do anything in it because it will tell me there is not enough memory, when I want to save a Picture it will tell me it does not recocnise the File Path does not matter witch I choose documents, desktop, my comp. etc.

I suspect it would be complex to fix as it is part of Windows.

It might be easier to use this (which has good reports):

Otherwise stick around to see what others say. Most "Paint" fixes on the net are for Win 98.
