MS Outlook 2010 doesn't send some messages

January 6, 2011 at 18:57:36
Specs: Windows XP
just noticed my Outlook 2010 on Win XP SP3 doesn't want to send message. For example, I created message and clicked "Send" button. The message goes to "Outbox" folder and wait me to initiate "Send/Receive" command. If I do "Send/Receive" then message sent with no problem. But if I decided to open it for editing (or just click on Outbox folder without opening a message inside it) then this message never send - it just seats in "Outbox" and Outlook doesn't provide any errors when sending/receiving messages, it seems Outlook doesn't see anything in Outbox! So I have create a new message and send it immediately to have a success. Sometimes it is bothering... Any idea is appreciated.

Not a fix, but at least a workaround.

Create a shortcut for Drafts in your Favorites.
Move the messages from Outbox to Drafts
Open the message in Drafts and click Send.
