Solved most of my internet shortcuts font color has changed to blue

Specs: N/A
windows XP font color on my shortcuts to favorite internet sites use to be black now most of them are blue. My folders which contain them in specific groups are still a black font but when I open the folder to see my list most of the internet shortcuts fonts are now blue in color yet some are still black. Note: my computer at work has the same links on it and they have not changed in color but I'm not running XP on this one.

A filename in blue usually means that file is compressed to save drive space, so compression has probably been enabled for the folder containing those files. With large hard drives now being less expensive and therefore normal, compression no longer makes sense. You can turn it off as per instructions here: http://www.andyrathbone.com/2012/02...
