I have serious doubts about the so called fix given in the link in response #1.

Many websites like that collect whatever computer query comes their way, repeat the query words on the webpage, then offer their standard "fix-all" product. Ignore the logo, this website is nothing to do with MS. The information they give could apply to about any computer software issue. Whatever you click on that page it always offers the "Speedmaxpc" installer which sounds very general to me. Sure to be money in this somewhere. I would avoid it, as it might make matters worse (unless the respondee can vouch for it personally).

As for the reported issue, try another browser to make sure it is not a particular webpage playing up. It will also prove whether it is a browser problem.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
