LOUCOM4U, my guess is you fingered the cause (virus) yourself. Speculate it messed with your associations and won't let you open pictures unless you click individuals. Restore? Dunno if that'll do it. If not, download free Irfanview from http://www.irfanview.com and use that excellent proggie to open pictures. I use it and works great. BTW, go back and edit your post to remove your address to avoid getting LOTS of spam.

Restore should not be necessary for this minor issue and in any event you might then get your virus back.

IrfanView is very good but probably all you actually need to do is reset your jpg file associations. Right click any jpg file and select "Open With". Choose whatever viewer you normally use - the XP default is "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer".

Probably too late to worry about your email address as it already appears on several websites - presumably you are getting plenty of junk email. If google can find it so can the spammers engines. I can never understand why folk want junk email.

Please come back and let us know the outcome.

Not surprised you have a virus attack... seems you've spent a fair bit of time on the Warez Network. (According to Google)
