LFN xcopy support in win xp

Specs: Windows XP, 3.0/512
I am trying to use xcopy to back up one harddrive to another. after I run this command.

XCOPY /E /N /C /I /F /G /H /R /K /O /X /Y C:\ E:\
[/code]

when I look at the backup I see folders wrote like this progra~ how do I protect the long filenames in win xp.

Xcopy /? results in...

/N Copies using the generated short names.

need I say more?

Review your need of the /N switch.

yes I relized what was wrong but forgot to come back and update post. I still need to take c drive offline before it will restore though. [ just had to reload system trying to restore.]
