Presumably you are talking about Word Processing and Printing. You'll need to say which word processor you are using and which printer.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

My printer is a brother laser printer and the system I'm talking about is a client management program called ACT. Not sure what "word processor" it uses - but my system has Microsoft word. We've run labels from this ACT program for years and suddenly - this problem of the addresses dropping down, etc.

I'm not familiar with the ACT program but maybe someone will drop by who knows about it. Presumably it uses its own WP (unless it says otherwise on the top of the page when using it). Have you a CD or download? Maybe an uninstall and re-install of ACT would fix it.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I would look at the registration assembly on your printer and the rollers/pads it uses.

The registation assembly is at the begining of the paper path. It's what aligns the paper and and makes sure it advances at the correct time. If the rollers are worn out and slipping it could be sending the paper in late and thus causing the misalaignment problems you are having.

Yeah #4 is a good idea - sorry I didn't think of it. It's too easy to forget about hardware issues. Cleaning rollers with spirit can sometimes help - they get greasy.

If all else fails try another printer (if you can borrow one) which would prove the point.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
