I am forever having to reinstall Java on my computer. It works fine for about a week then I have to reinstall it when needed. When I go to reinstall it, it says that I allready have it on my computer. I have checked everything that was mentionned to check and everything is set as it should. I just can't figure what is going on with my Java. I have the latest version.

Look in Control Panel>add-remove programs and see if you have more than one version of Java, if you do, try uninstalling both (all) and download a new copy to reinstall.
You also might want to update and rescan with your antivirus program, and then with Malwarebytes to make sure the problem is not being caused by an infection.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.

I only have one Java in my control panel. I've allready scanned with spybot s&d, malwarebytes and with bitdefender, nothing is found. Will probably uninstall it with add/remove through control panel and see if it helps. Thanks

You may be running an Internet Security application that is turning it off.

Go to IE, Tools, Manage Addons, Enable/disable addons and select Java if disabled and click on Enable.

If you are still having trouble, see if you like Firefox, for Firefox you don't download Java, you activate it through add-ons.
