Solved itunes not recognizing iPod nano 6th gen to enable transfer

Specs: Windows 7
Greetings! I cast my net, hoping to receive a helpful message in a bottle.

I am trying to upload music purchased and stored in iTunes storage files onto a new laptop. iTunes has been successfully installed. I am attempting to upload on to a different nano generation 6 than the original onto which my music was originally stored, as it was lost or stolen.

I'm grateful for any help that comes my way.

You are posting in the WinXP forum but list Windows 7 as your OS. Which is it?

You state you are trying to upload to a laptop then you say to an Ipod nano. Where is the music now?

At any rate, this is probably a case for Itunes tech support, if they will help you at all.

Your post makes very little sense. Where is the music actually stored now and where are you trying to transfer it to?
