Buy a USB drive enclosure.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

If the hard drive has Windows 2000 or up on it, you CANNOT boot from it on another computer when it's in an external enclosure.

If you do not boot from from it when the external drive is connected to another computer, you MAY get Access Denied messages when you try to access certain files and folders on your drive if you were using a password for your Windows user.

In that case, try using Unlocker.
