is it safe to delete drwtsn32 file of 6.2G?

Specs: Windows XP, 1.60 G / 512 Meg
Im running XP Home SP2 and am seeing slow down of my pc - loading IE, programs etc

This is a humungous file and I need to know if I can safely delete it?

No you shouldn't delete it, but it may be infected.

It should be safe to delete. Could rename it to some other name but see this first.

I suspect it is a log of problems.

If it's a memory dump file, created by Drwtsn32.exe, you can savely delete the file. This is only helpful, if there was really necessary data in the memory, that has not already been saved to hard drive, and you need this data back. Therefore, you can send this file to Microsoft, so that they will restore data from this dump file if possible.
You also have to pay for this service of Microsoft.

My opinion something, a thing, no one really needs.
