Is it possible to install third hard drive

Specs: Windows XP
Hi,
I have 2 hard drives (SATA) installed in my PC, plus 2 CD's installed in IDE1, Can I install one more hard drive in IDE2 ? I tried but it's not working!

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, In addition to the 2 SATA ports I have on my mother board, there are two IDE's, I have two hard drives connected to the existing ports , two CD's connected to IDE1, I tried to connect my third drive to IDE2 but is not working as master or slave?

IDE only supports 2 drives per channel. So you will have to lose one of your CD ROMs. Just go and buy a SATA CD ROM to free up space.
