Is it ok to have multiple Gmail accounts?

I have one Gmail account and would like to know if it's possible to set up a second account without messing up the other account. If it's ok to have a second account, would I sign out of the first account, then set up the second account? Then to get back to the first, sign out of the new account and sign into the 1st one?

I have 2 Yahoo accounts and 1 Gmail account. All 3 are linked in Yahoo so I can go from one to another without closing Yahoo. I would guess you can do the same with Gmail.

You might want to read this -

https://www.google.com/gmail/about/...

Don’t create or use multiple accounts to abuse Google policies, bypass Gmail account limitations, circumvent filters, or otherwise subvert restrictions placed on your account. (For example, if you’ve been blocked by another user or have had your Gmail account disabled due to abuse, don’t create a replacement account that engages in similar activity.)

You’re also not allowed to create Gmail accounts by automated means or buy, sell, trade, or re-sell Gmail accounts to others.

How do you link them all to Yahoo?

You have to have Yahoo account to start with. You have a Gmail account, stick to that one and avoid all possible confusion later. Create an Ebay folder and keep all your Ebay transaction emails there. I have an Ebay folder and a PayPal folder and I keep the appropriate correspondence there.

I have 20+. Ever since moving off from AOL back in the 90s of using only one account for everything, to decrease spam issues filling my one and only mailbox, I created many over the years:
personal, bills (people who want money I do not have), gaming, church, miscellaneous, computing, schooling, professional, etc.
I use Mozilla Thunderbird to keep them all sorted.

I reply as fast as I can, but it could be hours or months.
