Specs: Windows XP
I am suffering with an adventure of my friend. I have an internet cafe. I do not know what my friend did with all my client PCs that from now my PCs undo all the new software installtions after reboot. The software works only before the reboot and disappear after the reboot. I am using basic networking of Windows XP with the network software Inter-Control (from inter-control.net)

What should I do now???

Sounds like he has installed an imaging program on your computers that restore the systems back to baseline when they reboot. This is a good thing because if you get any viruses or some one installs key loggers on your computers, they will be removed when the systems reboot. You have to find out what imaging program he used then use it to make a new baseline image after you have installed the new programs.

Any one of them. You have to figure out where he stored the Image File then make a new image to replace the old file. I would call him up and ask him these questions.

Could be, I just thought about this (I am an idiot) can you send us your tasklist so we can see what is running and determine what he used? Just do the following...

Open Start -> Select Run -> Type CMD -> Terminal will open -> type the following command...

tasklist > mytasks.txt

Open your "My Documents" -> open the "mytasks.txt" -> copy the text and paste it in the forum.

Yup, it sounds like you are using Deep Freeze or Microsoft's Steady State.

That is actually deepfreeze but as I don't had the password, I reinstalled a new windows. I tried to trace that software but there are only 4-5 files with the title of DF server (something like this). I have visited their website, there are lots of versions which made me confused. I do not know what will happen when I install that software but I want to try it. Is ther any tutorial available for it?
