Specs: Windows (5.1.2600) XP Pro SP 3, Intel(R)Pentium Dual CPU E2160 @ 1.80 GHz /980MB
I had a few "Trojan_Vundos.Zero"s & had to uninstall the new Limewire b/c one of their jar file 'suddenly'started coming back as a Trojan w/ several antivirus softwares. After I got rid of sudden pop ups & got help w/ my HijackThis log, My IE7 stopped working so I figured my registry cleaner 'Auslogics Boostspeed' did to much after a thorough cleaning. I did a system restore & IE7 started working again, so I turned my pc off. When I turned it on @ night it wasn't working again & all these files & dlls were coming up missing. Than I realized my system restore must've been infected so i cleaned it out. Long story short, in 5 days I reinstalled IE 7 twice & even tried IE 8 & started getting a "cant find (null)make sure you typed in the rigt word, etc. I used AutoPatch XP hoping the MS updates would replace the missing files, than rebooted twice... now nothing happens again, no error windows nothing. By the way, my windows error reporting was turned off. I didnt do it >:( Last night while searching for a IE 7 patch, I found this article "Service Pack 3 Causing Browser Issues"

I see others in cyber space forums r having the same problem w/ no solution, ANY IDEAS?

Your best bet would be to completely reinstall Windows. There is no guarantee that your anti-virus or whatever cleaning program you have will get everything. Viruses or meant to hide and cling onto things that you wouldn’t even thing of.
