You don't need WinZip & I doubt your system is infected. You probably went to a less than savory site & it reset your IE setting. Just grab the corner of the tiny window & pull it to the size you want. Open the menu bar, then click File > Exit. All links will now open to that size.

Or if you prefer to have links open in a new tab rather than a new window, go to Internet Options > General tab > Tabs Settings & change the setting for "pop-ups" & "open links".

In addition to the above, why do you think you need Winzip? Do you need to open compressed files with a zip extension? Below is a link to a free unzipper that can handle most zipped file types. I use it myself.

My Solution ------
With mouse pointer on the Title Bar (top bar on the window),
hold down left mouse button,
now move top left corner of window TO the top left of screen.

Now place mouse pointer at the bottom right corner of the window,
until you see a Double Arrow,
then hold left mouse button,
then drag the window to the lower right side of the screen.

NOW all windows of that program should open the same,
without having to click Maximize.
