(Internet explorer 8.)I can log my email name into the yahoo mail sign in page, but the screen comes back saying please verify password over & over. The site says hi to me but I can't get into my mail! This started with IE 7, then I got IE 8, rechecked all the security settings and cookies etc., but Im still having this problem. I can get in with firefox browser though.? So again Im trying to sign in with IE 8, and now I get this error message: "The browser you're using refuses to sign in. (cookies rejected)"
I don't know? I also checked the bottom of the page where it list's the blocked sites, summary etc., I checked always allow this site. Nothing is working!

Thank you.

I have seen this on the occasion where the computer had several viruses in it, and most of them have been gotten from IE. This is happening because there is a corruption in your IE settings and the program itself, I would scan your computer for viruses using your antivirus program. This will not fix the problem, it will only hopefully remove what threats and viruses have corrupted the program.

The only for sure way to fix this problem is to run the virus program. Once thats done, uninstall IE, remove the program file, and the registry entries. For these last steps, I would recommend someone sitting next to you that has advanced technical experience.

Same thing happened to me. All you have to do is "Sign in" as a different user (same account), regardless of whether you are already signed in.
