So just recently my Internet Explorer 8 started shutting down and refreshing itself when playing videos. This only happens when I am playing a streaming video that has not buffered all the way yet. Once it reaches 100%, it plays just fine. I have reset and reinstalled my IE and also reinstalled my java. Is there anything else that I should be looking for in this situation? Also, nothing was downloaded/installed/changed around the time that this issue started happening either.
It was set to the minimum of 50MB but I upped it to the max of 1024MB. Still having the issue. Another thing that I noticed is that it only causes the tab that is playing videos to close and restart. All other tabs are not effected. Also, I have found that Firefox does the same thing so it is not just a IE issue.
Update on this situation. Just before this happened I had reinstalled my java because I was having issues accessing certain things for my online school. So I re-reinstalled my java and "tada" the video issues are gone!
