I have a number of floppy disks that I want to save while my old XP system is still running. I bought a new laptop with WIN 7 where I'll store the data.
I would suggest making an image file of them and storing the image file. This way if the files are bootable, it will retain the boot information. Have a look at Winimage - http://www.winimage.com/
Depends on the type of floppy. If you only have data then drag and drop to some folder, If you have a flash drive then put the files there. If you mean boot or special disks you may try rawritewin or dd for windows.
If needed you can buy a usb floppy to get the data off later.

If they just contain a collection of files then you can store them wherever you like. You could create a main folder called Floppies then sub-folders for each one. This, of-course, is just normal computer folder and file handling. If you are trying to do something more complex then please provide a better explanation.
Please come back and let us know how you got on.
