Specs: Windows XP
My hard drive is full. i want to backup to a USB flash drive. How do I do this?

It is not too clear exactly what you want to do.

If they are your own files then you just copy and paste them to the flash drive.
Once you are sure they are backed up properly you can then delete them from the HD. Do not do this with program or system files.

How big is your HDD? How big is your USB flash drive? Have you deleted old files, uninstalled unused programs, delete temp internet files, empty the temp folder, empty the recycle bin, etc? If you've never adjusted your IE settings, the default setting will store 20 days worth of internet garbage. That alone could be several GB of useless files.

I use ntbackup. It is on the xp home cd to install. Pro offers it normally.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
