I put in wrong System Restore point by date

Specs: Windows XP
When trying to do a restore point I put in the date 1day early. example today is the 5th and the restore point is for the 6th now I cant get back in to fix as the day has not eventuated yet. Can I go in to safe mode and create another one.. and how can I get into safe mode

Your system date must be wrong... System Restore uses the current time and date, you are not able to specify a date.

Sounds like you just entered that "erroneous" date as a description for the restore point. It won't affect anything.

Of course, we may be reading your post all wrong; if so, please clarify.

IMpatient is probably correct in his assumption. You get into safe mode by preesing f8 rapidly when the computer begins to post, but you don't need to do this... just use the restore point you made, it will have been created on the day you made it.
