Specs: Linux i686
I have a pc (dell) that has an error code "Ntdlr is missing". I am unable to boot my computer. (I was screwing with the BIOS before this happened and I am assuming I moved and/or deleted something.) I have tried to copy the files "ntdlr and ntdetect.com from the XP disc I have to no avail. It will copy the ntdect.com but not the ntdlr. Any help would be awesome pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!! I hate when I do this to myself!!
Also, I don't mind doing a complete install however, I have files (mainly photos of my 3 year old) that I have not backed-up in 3 months. yes I know BAD!!

Did you bother to do a google search for "Ntdlr ntldr is missing" ? It's a very common problem.

It's most likely that bios is pointing to the wrong drive, check in bios that you are set to boot from the correct drive

Please come back & tell us if your problem is resolved.
