I have installed & uninstalled Adobe Flash Shockwave plug-in

Specs: Windows XP, 128
Unresponsive Shock wave plug-in. I have installed & uninstalled Adobe Flash shock wave many times. Still the plug-in is unresponsive. What can I do? I am running Windows XP

Are you using Google Chrome? If so, try this:

Disable the built in flash and just use a standard version:
