I did a format to samsung s1 mini 120gb hart

I did a format to samsung s1 mini 120gb hart drive from fat32 to ntfs.My WDtv media player dosnt see it now and supports ntfs.I realy want to wach my mkv movies. Any help? Thanks

Did you convert the partition with programs on it. If you did, you need to reinstall the software. You can never be sure what will happen when you do that.

A format wipes the disk and puts a new empty file system in place. There is nothing for the media player to find since those files don't exist anymore.

Perhaps you had meant to do a "convert" and not a format?

I Didnt convert the partition with programs on it it was empty. Something happend to s1 because the WD sees another ntfs hart driver.reinstall the software? HOW??? Thanks
