OK. You do not seem to know what the specifications of your system are. So how do you know your system meets the minimum requirements of the game you are trying to play. The only thing you seem to know is it's a celeron ( Not a gaming CPU)
You need to tell us some information about your system. What CPU? How much ram? What graphics card? What game is it?
OK . The game seems to be a freebie originally designed to run in Win95 or 98 so it's an old MSDOS based thing. You are running XP on a system with only 256mb ram of which 32mb is shared with whatever onboard graphics you have. It is not uncommon or unexpected for free download old games not to run properly in XP. Unless you know how to decompile the game and re-make it yourself then I fear you are chasing a lost cause. Be certain the original game developer cares not that it won't run for you. Suggest play something else. You could try to run it in compatibility mode. Instead of double-click to start the game rightclick to access the compatibility tab and run it in 98 mode.
No, not really. Ram is the memory in a computer and hard disk space is the hard drive and has no memory. The cpu is the processor on the motherboard and not the computer itself. It sounds like you have a very old computer and it will never play games very well. You've only given us the processor and memory information so far. Without all the system info, it's hard to say what you can do. Is there a make and model # of this computer, like a Dell Dimension for example?
Edit out your email address as it will get picked up by the spammers engines. This will lead to junk email forever, building up as your address is passed to other spammers. Never put your email address in open text on a forum (unless disguised). We stick to the forum anyhow.
Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
Hey, we aren't here to tell you where to download illegal software, nor are we here to figure out what games will run on your computer. Go to the store, look on the side of the box for the required specs to run the game and if it will work on your system, then buy it.
