Are you sure the program is closing and not just minimizing in the tray? Look for an icon in the tray.

If you have tried multiple times to install versions of that program you may need to cleanup your registry as well as uninstall them in Control panel> add/ remove programs.

Try the registry module in Ccleaner Slim. Get it from the link below.

Then run the registry module in Ccleaner Slim. The cleaner module is excellent too. I use it daily.

Why would you download several different versions? Only one version is suitable for your OS. If you are running 32 bit Windows then get the 32 bit original version. Otherwise get the one near the top that shows 3 mirrors to download from.

HJSplit does NOT get installed. There are no registry entires, it is not listed in "Add or Remove". It is basically a portable app that can be run from a folder, disc, USB jumpdrive, etc.

From the webpage:

"HJSplit for Windows does not need to be installed nor does it depend on any special DLL's. Just extract the contents of the zip file into a directory of your choice, and start the program by double clicking on hjsplit.exe."
