All three AV softwares are installed in one system?
Try to disable them(msconfig) restart the system and uninstall them.

You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.

You should run only ONE Antivirus program.

I think Microsoft Security solutions is a forerunner of Microsoft Security Essentials. That is what you should be using if you want a MS solution.

If you have cobbled up your registry then all bets are off. I suggest you lose AVAST and AVG. Then install Essentials. Get it from the link below.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/...

The error code you are generating is associated with AVG.

The other possibility is that you have a malware lurking. You might try going back to a known good restore to help with the registry, then try running malwarebytes.( Still agree with the rest, one anti-virus, one anti-malware.

"You should run only ONE Antivirus program.",

....at least, you should have only ONE running it's resident module(s).

Most anti-malware programs have one or more resident modules - a part that runs all the time scanning for suspicious activity .
E.g.
All three of the ones you've mentioned have them

The free version of Malwarebytes does not; the paid version of Malwarebytes does

AdAware free ? and paid versions, and SpyBot free and paid versions, DO have them.

Also, standalone third party firewalls have them , at least the paid versions of them always do. Some anti-malware software has a firewall program as well, and some, e.g. AdAware and Spybot, have one or more that behave like a third party firewall.

If you install more than one anti-malware program on your computer that has one or more resident modules, by default, those resident modules are likely to CLASH with each other and when they do, one or more of the programs that CLASH will NOT work properly, and you will probably have all sorts of problems in Windows as well.

You CAN install more than one anti-malware program that has oner or resident modules in many cases, IF you disable the resident modules from running in all but ONE of them, at any one time. When you're installing an anti-malware program that has one or more resident modules, ALL of the other resident modules in other anti-malware programs must be disabled from running.
E.g.
- if you are using the free or paid version of AVG, if you want to run another anti-malware program than has one or more resident modules, you should disable the Resident Shield in AVG's 's settings in Windows (in AVG 2012 that's done under the title AntiVirus).
- For the current version of Avast!, that's not so straight forward - you may to disable more than one thing, but you can choose to disable something and leave it disabled until you enable it.
- For Microsoft Security Essentials.....
Scroll down - it shows where you can enable / disable Real time protection:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/p...

It's much easier to just have ONE that has one or more resident modules installed. .
...........

AVG WILL often refuse to install if it detects certain other anti-malware software has been installed !
That may apply to other brands too,

The free version of Malwarebytes can be installed in any case.

Error code 0xC0070643
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...

Excerpts:

"As per my research this error message appears if you have traces of previous installation of AVG software.

Download the AVG remover to remove the previous version and then attempt the installation again and check."

However his link is WRONG - this is the correct one:

http://www.avg.com/us-en/utilities

NOTE the different versions - for AVG 2012, 2011, 9, 8 etc.

NOTE that it may take a whle for the AVG remover program to finish running - it may appear to be doing nothing after a while - be patient - it will probably finish eventually, say, within no more than ten minutes.

NOTE that you should probably UN-install Microsoft Security Solutions, and AVAST! if it /they have/had already been installed, BEFORE you use the AVG remover. In fact, it it/they WERE installed, AVG may work fine after you UN-install it/them.

AVG WILL often refuse to install if it detects certain other anti-malware software has been installed !
......

Download and Run the free version of Malwarebytes

"Malwarebytes will get often get rid of malware that won't allow other anti-malware installation programs, or other anti-malware programs, to run normally."
