I was attempting to install Windows Media Player 11 (after uninstalling it) and ever since then I'm not able to get my User Acct & Guest Acct pictures to appear. I've only been able to log on by using the Access IBM button before the BIOS screen appears & I've use F8 to get access to Safe Mode where I've logged on with my Administrator Acct & password. I really need to access the other Log On screen as I've been careful to not use my Adm. Acct for installing my programs! I need help with this, as nothing even appears on the User Account Icon in the Control Panel. I use Mozilla Firefox as my Browser w) Internet Explorer 8 as a 2nd one.
Logged in as admin go to the user console in control panel. Accounts still exist?
If you come up normal and do a couple of control-alt-deletes do you get the logon box? Put in your user name and password. Do you get logged in?Run chkdsk /f on the drive and reboot so it runs. This will check for disk corruption.
report back after you have checked/done these things.

How to properly post a question:
Sorry no tech support via PM's
Control Panel > User Accounts > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off > check-mark: Use the Welcome screen. If you prefer to use WMP 10, you can download it here:

Apologies if I don't respond to your reply immediately. I don't check this site daily.
