i can't launch google chrome

Specs: Windows 64
when i try and launch google chrom it keeps telling me that my preferences are invalid and corrupt and i cannot get onto google chrome i can only get internet explorer which i don't like

Best way is to do a complete uninstall using Revo in ADVANCED mode. Then reboot & reinstall.

Open Revo, double click on a program logo, click > Yes & then you get your options, with Advanced down the bottom.
If you have partially uninstalled your program, you get a message from Revo, that it can't find the uninstaller, hit Cancel & let Revo continue on, to search for the remnants.
If you get a reboot message, ignore it & do it after Revo has finished.

Reset Registry Permissions
Reset File Permissions
Register System Files
Repair WMI
Repair MDAC & MS Jet
Repair Hosts File
Remove Policies Set By Infections

Download & SAVE to your Desktop.
Quit all programs that you may have started.
Please disconnect any USB or external drives from the computer before you run this scan!
For Vista or Windows 7, right-click and select "Run as Administrator to start"
For Windows XP, double-click to start.
Wait until Prescan has finished ...
Then Click on "Scan" button
Wait until the Status box shows "Scan Finished"
click on "delete"
Wait until the Status box shows "Deleting Finished"
Click on "Report" and copy/paste the content of the Notepad into your next reply.
The log should be found in RKreport[1].txt on your Desktop
Exit/Close RogueKiller.
