Specs: Windows XP
ok so I bought a computer at my neighbors yard sale and it is a Windows Hp Pavilion xt928 and we used a disney restore disk because we didn't have another one. Now that the system is working we are unable to access the internet on Monzilla or IE. My family has no idea what to do and neither do I.

Is there anyway that I could download a restore or do you know how I can fix my internet?

sincerely, T.

Try this

"Don't hit at all if you can help it; don't hit a man if you can possibly avoid it; but if you do hit him, put him to sleep."

What is a Disney Restore disk? HP systems come with HP Restore packages. If that is not what you have there are 2 choices. None of the manufacturers have downloadable copies of the restore media. so the first choice is to go to HP and ask to have one shipped to you (typically there is a fee involved), the second choice is to find someone with an OEM copy matching the key on the system (typically XP Home) for Pavilions and install Windows using the key. This method means downloading all hardware drivers from the HP support site. Method 2 is time consuming since all drivers and support programs need downloaded one at a time. Are you sure the system had all the included CD's when you bought it?

You need to go into the control panel and see if your Network card is installed. If it isn't, you can go to http://www.hp.com/#Support and get the drivers you need.
