Hp Pavilion a 720n

Specs: Windows Xp
i tryed to change the ram and the ram that i have to put in is to big it did not fit so i put the ram that was all ready in there in the same spot and took a look at the processor after i took off the coil thing that was hard as hell mind u after i took it off i then took out the processor and took a look at it up close and then lined up the pens and put it back in put the coil thing back on then hook everything back up and turned it on all i get is a black screen and the screen say going to sleep the hard drive is on all fans are running and the cd/dvd roms are working i tryed unplugging the power holding the button down for 30 sec to a min and that did not work took everything off the motherboard and put it all back on too out the ram cleaned it and the blow out all the dust plz some 1 help i dont know what to do if i dont make it back on here plz send message to jzenrick1989@hotmail.com

Google your CPU & see if it needs Thermal Paste.
