HP Desktop Stuck On HP splash screen

Specs: Windows XP
I came back after a vacation for about a month and when I tried to turn on my computer, it got stuck on the HP invent screen where there are options to go into the Boot Menu, Setup, and System recovery. But neither of them work, the computer freezes at the screen, not allowing me to get pass that screen. I've tried many keyboards and still no progress.

I've also tried to take out the CMOS battery out and let it rest for 30 minutes, still no luck.
I've tried to disconnect the hard drive to see if that was causing the problem, but it was still stuck.
I held down to ESC while booting up the computer, but it just says "Loading boot menu..." and it just gets stuck like that.
I removed all USB ports.

And my question is.. Could it be caused by my motherboard?

There should also be a jumper for CMOS reset.
Turn off computer completely, shorten the jumper as described in the users manual of the mainboard for a few seconds.
Set jumper back to normal position and turn on the computer.

Maybe that helps.
