How to transfer files XP 32 bit to XP 64 bit

Specs: Windows XP
Good morning, I am going to upgrade and buy a Acer Laptop with the new 64 bit system and want to use the new Win XP 64 bit system.How do I transer my data/files to the new system.I currently am runing Win XP Professional 32 bit. I am not a geek so make it simple..thanks in advance.

New Win XP 64 bit system ?? Windows 7 is the latest !

Just buy a Flash memory Stick and copy and paste to the Stick, then put the stick into the new Laptop and copy and paste to where you want the data.........

XP 64-bit sucked & it's defintely not new. Are you sure you don't mean Windows 7 64-bit?
