How to transfer Files in C deive to D drive

Specs: Windows 7
What files can I safely move from C drive to D drive without affecting my normal usage?

Pretty much any non-associated or non installed files such as downloaded media or created word files etc...

Be warned though a lot of installed files rely on the original file locations to execute.

You can also make the My Documents folder reside on the D drive from now on, so that the new location becomes the default from now on...
