Specs: Windows XP
its real slow and want it to restore the computer so its running like new so i wanna wipe out the whole computer and make it new plus all this pop blockers comin up as well

The older Latitude series computers didn't have recovery partitions on their hard drives. Do you have the original CDs that came with the computer? If so, simply put in the one labeled "Operating System" and boot from it using F12 when the computer first turns on. But your files will be lost during the reinstall if you don't back them up.

Mmm would be very wise to copy anything you wouldn't like to lose to external media first; before you do any restore/reset routine... Check the copies are accessible too both system as is, and ideally on at least one other... (just to be safe).
