I recently deleted a file accident when closing Word Perfect 12 . How can I get back this lost file, which does not have a file name/title? I'm not tech smart, please make instructions simple and easy for me... Thanks!
Per chance is it in the Deleted file/trash/Recycled bin?
If it has no name it sounds like you didn't delete it but closed out without saving it. In which case you might be out of luck. Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
For the future...as soon as you create a document in say Office or Wordperfect suites, or any other similar, give it a name... That "occasionally" allows some possibility of recovery... Per chance this item may be of help...

Try going to Start menu> search box and typing *.wpd That should bring up all Word Perfect files.
Thanks everyone for your help. I tried all your suggestions, but no luck. I will in the future use some of your tips and hope I don't loss anymore files. Thanks again for all your help... Lola
When trying #4 above did you see ANY WPerfect files?
To: OtherHill... Yes (#4) seen some files, but not the one I was looking for. Guess that file just disappeared. Thanks for your help! Lola
