Try updating the network card driver like this:

Device Manager.
Right-click the actual network controller under "Network adapters".
Choose "Properties".
Under the "Driver" tab, click the "Update driver" button.

✔ Best Answer
Probably stating the obvious but if all three computers are being used at the same time on the same network then a speed drop is likely. The third computer might just be breaking the camel's back.

EDIT:
As an aside to the question you ought to be running XP SP3 with all the security updates from then until April 2014, while they are still available.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

The 1st thing I thought when seeing the title (before even clicking on it) was why isn't this person running SP3? Afterall, it was released over 6 years ago. And as Derek stated, there are other security updates (& fixes) that should have been installed between then & April 2014 too. If you go online with these systems, I'm sure you must have encountered some sort of warnings along the way? Anyhow, IMO, before doing anything else, you should make sure ALL your computers are fully updated.

I should have added that if it is XP 64 bit then apparently there are no updates to SP3.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
