How to get Windows Media Player to burn DVDs in XP

Specs: Windows XP
I have a jvc camera that came with the everio program. I can burn dvd from there but the ones stored out of that library being played by windows will not burn DVD? ANY SOLUTION TO HOW TO GET MY WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER BURNING THE DVDS?

Windows Media Player on Windows XP cannot burn to DVD, it can only burn to CD. To burn to DVD, you need a third-party DVD burning/authoring software such as Nero or Roxio Media Creator:

Thanks for the info. I have been going nuts trying to figuire out why it would not burn a video disk.. Helpful and thanks...
I found a dvd burner that seems to work well.
