Specs: Windows XP
when I try to access a shared folder in a computer from mine, it asks for the user name and password of the host computer. But I want to access it directly as I do for other computes. I know one of the way to remove the guest password is to set guest password to none in "local user accounts and groups" but it's not working in that computer. what else I can do?

Of course it's all xp....

actually you have to enable the guest account and then set its password to blank if the local security policy allows it.

your solution is to go to that remote computer, put in your logon name and the password you use. After that you won't be asked for account or password.
