"to re-install win xp"
Are you prepared to lose everything?

If so, boot into the bios & change the boot order to boot from the CD first.
Make sure the XP CD is inserted & when you get to the section about partitions, delete them all.

If there are files you'd like to save... Would be wise to do "before" any restore to factory settings/re-install routines.

This can usually be done acouple of ways.

Are you sure that's the correct message? Might it be NTLDR?
