i believe my spouse put webwatch or something on my laptop. its new and im not to good with computors.

if its installed its hid in someother program that u can view from another computor, its called webwatch

Back up all your data to removable media, then restore to factory settings.

Or, use system restore to go back to a date before she installed it.

If THIS is the Webwatcher you suspected is running on your machine, first try THIS procedure to remove it. If it doesn't work and you still have it, you should seriously consider Sci-Guy's suggestion in Response No. 5.

running any spyware/malware/antivirus programs? Look at the exceptions list.

You can also download Process Explorer from Microsoft. I gives you much more info on what is running than Task Manager and still allows you to shut down running programs. But response 5, while more drastic, will be absolute.
