I Have C drive (SATA) from Desktop that is Not Booting up, I Want to retreive the My Documents Folder from it on to a laptop using a SATA to USB Adapter, but I need the the laptop to see the Sata drive as a slave.....
You can either use a hard drive dock or something that i use quite often called magic bridge 2. google it. its pretty cheap and very handy. you can plug your hard drive into this using the sata interface, and then plug the bridge into your laptop using the usb cable provided. it will be seen as a slave drive and you should be able to copy the content of your drive to your laptop. :)
