I am totally inept at knowledge of what my PC needs, but fairly functional at putting it together. What do I need to connect my PC to my TV so I can stream movies to it? My PC is an eMachines T3304. My TV is a Magnovox 19MDTR20/17 with DVD and VCR. I connect to the internet via a DSL modem.

You will need to figure out what types of inputs your TV has, IE. HDMI, component, composite, s-video, etc. Then you will need to find out what type of video out (if any) your computer has. If it doesn't have the proper outputs, you can purchase a video card that would have the output you need.

HDMI will give you the best picture and will also carry the audio.
Component is the next best, you will need separate audio cables for this.
s-video is probably the next best, you will need a separate audio cable for this.
Composite is the next best, you will need separate audio cables for this too.
