how to clock.

Amd athlon / 3000+

Specs: Windows XP, 2,01 GHz 1,00 GB
(sorry for my english im from holland).

the question is,

i have an AMD 3000+ 64processor but,
how can i see what 'mother'board i have?
because i want to now how to overclock my comp.

Sometimes when you start the computer it will flash the model as part of the first or second boot screen as part of bios.

thanks and i saw the risks..
and..
i saw that it doesn't do much..
it makes your computer faster like 10% right?
that isn't worth the damage :(
