My computer wont go in stand by because it says I need to turn off print spooler. What is that? Never had this problem before.

Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Services and Applications>ServicesThen half way down the list select the spooler and stop the service.

Software that accepts a document sent to a printer and then stores it on disk or in memory until the printer is ready for it.
