Ctrl F11 is what I tried to do, but it didn’t work. Is there a specific timing or something? FILLER FILLER FILLER FILLER
https://www.computing.net/answers/w... Pay heed to warnings re’ loss of all personal files etc.
Before you go the route of a reset first copy all your files to external storage. Ideally an external hard drive, but to a host of dvd if no hard drive. Photos etc. should be copied to dvd as well as a hard drive; to ensure you them safe...
But why the need to do a reset?
And this a link to the manual:
Running XP in 2019 is NOT recommended, unless you have no plans to connect to the internet with it.
If the recovery partition is damaged or not even there--maybe its drive is not the original one--then CTRL F11 won't work.
