How do I remove the failed XP install entry

April 26, 2010 at 06:51:45
Specs: Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit
I need to remove the XP boot entry in the Vista Boot screen. The XP install failed. I typed in bcdedit and it only shows the Vista entry but after reboot it gives me the choice between continuing with the XP install or Vista and the XP install is chosen if no key is pressed.

You have to edit the boot.ini file located on the Root of C: and remove the XP entry.
