Your system is shown as Macintosh but you have posted this in the Windows XP forum. Which is it?

We can't help with email unless you give us some idea which email service or program you are using - there are stacks of them, all different.

Are you sure that this new payment advice is genuine? There are a lot of scams about. Exactly how and where are you seeing this request?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

When you post more details do not post an actual valid email address, nor any passwords or specific account details. Posting anything as mentioned leaves you open to spammers and worse.

Is their request to change the payment method an error on their part or did you cancel or change the way you are charged?

Oh you mention 'The information will not record. . . ' Does that mean you're entering the updated billing information but it's not accepting it? If you are running XP then the IE version available to you is no newer than 8. Many sites no longer work right with that version. You may be able to access your email with 8 but be unable to change the billing information. In that case you need to use a newer browser like firefox to update the information.

Did you receive an email or other form of communication asking you to update your information? Did this email contains a link to follow?
You might be a victim of fraud. If you put your information in and it didn't update, someone may now have personal information such as credit card number, etc.

If this is the case you need to contact your bank or credit card company ASAP.
